Don't let the low price of these cutters put you off! We have been using these cutters for PCB assembly throughout 2021 and they are lasting really well. If you cut steel wire then of course they will be damaged but for your copper resistor, capacitor leads etc they are perfectly good.
Of course eye protection is required when using any cutters and these are no different, they are so sharp that the cuttings can fling off at speed.
