| We have made the task of building a mains power supply easier through the use of a PCB mounted transformer but the risk of contact with mains voltages on the underneath of the PCB and around the Faston connectors remains. This power supply requires a mains rated fuse on the incoming power supply line. |
Have the right skills, tools and test gear to build your own modular synth, then our kits of parts may be just what you need. As a minimum, you will need to be able to identify electronic components, recognise when they need to be correctly orientated, to be able to use a small soldering iron and finally have access to test equipment. This PSU requires only a DVM to set up the output voltages.
The kits include all required electronics components but excludes the transformer, power distribution plugs, mains socket and other hardware all of which are available from Soundtronics as accessories. We are also able to supply a custom made hardwood enclosure with matching front panel.
We only source quality components which are available individually should you not need to purchase the whole kit.
Note: You will also need the PCB 7215-080 unless etching your own.
