MIDI over TRS standard was introduced by the MIDI Manufacturers Association in 2017. Soundtronics has adopted this standard for the M²Synth MIDI2CV converters avoiding the need for the large DIN connectors.
This Soundtronics brand 15cm Lead is ideal for converting an existing MIDI DIN plug to a 3.5mm TRS.
The wiring for this lead follows the MIDI standard and often referred to as Type A. Note that a few manufacturers like Arturia use a different wiring convention (Type B) and is thus not suitable.
