Update, we used to supply these with solder tag terminals, they are now supplied with PCB tags. We actually find the PCB tags are easier to solder wires to plus they directly fit our socket PCB breakout boards that simplify panel wiring.

These 1/4" panel mount mono sockets are very popular in the audio / music world where their reputation for quality is evident.

Featuring a 7mm long threaded metal busing and a closed switch contact (see datasheet, circuit option 2A).
